SOUTHERN ILLINOIS HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION RECEIVES $250,000 FEDERAL GRANT FROM HHS

WASHINGTON-- US Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) has announced that Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation (SIHF)has been awarded a $250,000 grant from the US Department of Health and Human Services.

"I am pleased that Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation received this grant to provide critical HIV counseling, testing and referral services in the Metro East area." said Costello.

Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation will use these funds to hire personnel to work with individuals diagnosed with HIV, and to obtain supplies and equipment.
