SOUTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY RECEIVES $211,500 FEDERAL GRANT
WASHINGTON - US Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) has announced that the US Department of Health and Human Services has awarded a grant in the amount of $211,500 to Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.
"I am pleased that this continuation grant was awarded to help researchers reach their goal of providing significant medical breakthroughs," said Costello.
This continuation grant is awarded from the Department of Health and Human Services National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. The award period is from September 30, 2000 through September 29, 2001.
