Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that several housing authorities in the 12th Congressional District have received FY2003 Capital Fund Program grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The funds will be used for modernization, development and management improvements.
"Our housing authorities provide important services that improve the quality of life in our communities," said Costello. "Affordable housing helps spur economic development by making a community attractive for businesses."
