OLIN CORPORATION RECEIVES ARMY CONTRACT
Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Olin Corporation, Winchester Division, located in East Alton, has been awarded a $9,275,026.50 contract by the U.S. Army. The contract is for the production of 70,000,200 5.56mm Ball M855 cartridges.
"This work is critical to our national defense and supports our troops," said Costello. "I will continue to work to make sure that sufficient resources are available for these activities," said Costello.
