Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that three projects in the 12th Congressional District have received grants from the Illinois Humanities Council. The Council coordinates federal, state and private funds for cultural and social programs.
"These types of projects add a great deal to the learning environment of the community," said Costello. "They also help promote tourism in Southern Illinois."
