Washington -U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that two fire protection districts in Randolph County have received Assistance to Firefighters grants through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The Coulterville Fire Protection District will use the award for fire operations and firefighter safety; the Tilden Fire Protection District will use the award to purchase a firefighting vehicle. Costello cosponsored the legislation that created the Assistance to Firefighters program.
