COSTELLO ANNOUNCES HUD GRANT FOR MADISON COUNTY

Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Madison County Housing Authority has been awarded a $41,544 grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  The funds will be used to continue the county's Rental Certificate/Housing Choice Voucher Family Self-Sufficiency Program coordinator position. 

"The coordinator helps local residents toward self-sufficiency," Costello said.  "Helping provide a sound living environment is an important service and I will continue to support these efforts."
