COSTELLO PRESENTS FEDERAL FUNDS TO BENTON LIBRARY
Washington - On Monday, November 29, 2004 U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) presented a $169,750 mock check to officials at the Benton Public Library.
Costello secured the funds as part of the federal budget for Fiscal Year 2005. The money will be used to significantly increase the facility, including more meeting space and a larger children's area. Costello presented the check to library officials during a short ceremony held at the library Monday.
