SOUTHERN ILLNOIS HEALTHCARE RECEIVES HHS GRANT
Washington - U.S. Rep. Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that Southern Illinois Healthcare, located in East St. Louis, has been awarded a $191,449 Health Center Cluster grant through the Bureau of Primary Health Care of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The funds will be used to expand medical capacity.
"These funds will increase access to care for residents of East St. Louis," said Costello. "I will continue to work to ensure that these resources remain available to our communities."
