COSTELLO ANNOUNCES USDA GRANT FOR HURST
Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the City of Hurst has received a $19,052 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Office of Rural Development. The funds will be used to purchase a police car.
"Getting these resources directly to our local first responders is an important way to enhance safety in our communities," said Costello. "Our police officers put their lives on the line everyday and need adequate equipment to do their jobs."
