Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Village of Cambria has received a $21,880 Community Facility Grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Office of Rural Development. The funds will be used to purchase two new warning sirens and activation equipment. The new sirens will be much louder and have a greater range.
"I have said many times that public safety must be our number one priority," said Costello, a senior member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. "I will continue to work to ensure that these resources are available to our communities."
