CHURCH ROAD FIRE PROTECTION DISTIRCT RECEIVES USDA GRANT

Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Church Road Fire Protection District, located in Centreville, has received a $2,060 Community Facility Grant through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Office of Rural Development. The funds will be used to purchase new pagers for the firefighters.

"These new pagers will allow the firefighters to do their jobs more effectively and with a greater degree of safety,” said Costello. "I will continue to support programs that improve the safety of our first responders.”
