SIUE RECEIVES HEAD START GRANT
Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that Southern Illinois University Edwardsville has been awarded a $1,595,447 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for its Head Start program, located in East St. Louis.
“Head Start has proven to play an important role in preparing young students for future success in school,” said Costello. “I will continue to work to see that all students have the tools necessary to make the most of their educational opportunities.”
