CHILDREN’S HOME & AID SOCIETY OF ILLINOIS RECEIVES HHS GRANT

Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Children’s Home & Aid Society of Illinois, located in Granite City, has been awarded a $100,000 Basic Center grant by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The funds will be used to provide services in the Metro East.

“Our social service agencies are constantly under financial pressures which are magnified in difficult economic times,” said Costello. “I will continue to support these programs which provide critical assistance to children and families in our communities.”
