MASCOUTAH STUDENT MEETS WITH CONGRESSMAN COSTELLO IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

WASHINGTON - Jesse Von Bokel, a senior at Mascoutah High School, met with U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) in his Washington, D.C. office today. Jesse was in Washington as part of the National Young Leaders Conference, a program sponsored by the Congressional Youth Leadership Council that provides promising students a hands-on experience in building leadership skills.

Jesse is President of the Student Council at Mascoutah High School and plays on the basketball and baseball teams. While Jesse has not yet decided on a college, he is looking at Illinois State and the University of Illinois.
