ROXANA STUDENT MEETS WITH CONGRESSMAN COSTELLO IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

WASHINGTON - Sam Pirtle, a high school student from Roxana, met with U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) in his Washington, D.C. office on Wednesday, October, 7. Sam was in Washington as part of the National Young Leaders Conference, a program sponsored by the Congressional Youth Leadership Council that provides promising students a hands-on experience in building leadership skills.

Sam is a junior in high school and hopes to attend college at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
