Reporters' Notebook: Trump lottery winner hails from Womelsdorf
Dylan Moyer won the lottery. Sort of.
The Womelsdorf resident's name was the first one drawn in U.S. Rep. Ryan Costello's lottery for tickets to President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration next week.
Plenty of Trump's Keystone State supporters will be headed to Washington on Jan. 20 to see him sworn in. But few will be able to get tickets, due to the event's limited capacity.
Members of Congress receive some tickets to give out. Costello, a Chester County Republican who represents parts of Berks and the Tri-County area, received more than 1,000 requests for his less than 200 tickets, so he instituted a lottery system.
